Art With Heart: Wednesday, May 7th 5-8 pm
We are excited to announce that on Wednesday, May 7th we will be hosting “Art with Heart” in the store from 5-8pm. Meet the artists behind the store’s artwork and shop new spring home collections while enjoying some refreshments. Best of all, 20% of the evening’s sales will be donated to Arts in Reach, a local charity focused on empowering teenage girls through art and mentoring.

Meanwhile, Emma Ashby, Peter Batchelder, Ellen Granter, Teresa McCue, Caroline Rufo, and Janis Sanders will be present for the evening to chat and answer questions. These six artists, featured in our store and on our website, have a wide range of styles and mediums among them, all inspired by the natural beauty of our region.
Peter Batchelder
Arts in Reach was founded by two UNH graduates in 1997 with a mission to inspire girls, ages 13-18, to discover creative freedom and confidence through the arts. They reach out to low to moderate income families with free summer camps and after-school programs, ranging from theater, to dance, to creative writing, and, of course, the visual arts. Their programs work to integrate teenage girls and their families into the community through mentors and local resources, building their self-confidence and life-skills along the way.
